A confession
A proposal
A lie
Never in all your years of dating did he think it would come to this. You two had been so happy together. Your smiles, your laughter, you were his.
So when did this all go downhill?
Why was he now staring at you from the bed, frozen, with someone that was not you underneath him?
Why had he let those eyes that looked at him with love for so many years now stare at him dull and emotionless?
He had never let their busy life's interfere in their love life before.
At least. (F/n) had tried.
Had he tried? Kiku honestly couldn't tell.
Until now.
Now he was pleading with you while you stared at him. You gave no response. Not even a nod. Nothing to signal you were listening.
He still pleaded.
You were listening. At the same time you were figuring where it was you two started falling apart.
Had there been any signals? None at all.
Were you two busy with the wedding planning and your nation's ? You certainly were.
Should you have said something when Kiku took more work again which caused him to be home barely once a week? Maybe.
You heard his pleas. The sorry, the I didn't mean to do it, the it was a mistake, that it would never happen again
That he still loved you
That was one you couldn't believe anymore. You both knew how you felt about betrayal. There was so much of it in your history you honestly still questioned how you could still trust anyone.
So why was he still pleading? Why was he on his knees crying? Did he not understand that it wouldn't help?
Perhaps that was it. Neither of you understood why.
Now here he was, holding your hand asking you not to leave him.
It was a few days before the wedding...
You looked at him now, there was no emotion. You were numb.
Slowly you rose from your seat. Your hand slipped out of his.
Fear was evident in his eyes. Anticipation ran through him.
Your thoughts clicked together, trying to convince yourself there was some way.
Those thoughts were smashed when you told yourself no.
You knew you couldn't forget this. You had already been through too much of it.
You faced him, but you couldn't tell if you were looking at him anymore.
You didn't see a friend.
You didn't see an ally.
You didn't see a fiance.
You didn't see a lover.
You saw a traitor.
And what little he saw of a chance faded when you slowly removed your engagement ring and let it fall to the floor.
The small noise of it hitting the floor filled the house for a second.
The next sound was you closing the door.
And then his sobs and screams.
You were both nation's, it wouldn't be the last time you saw each other.
It was going to be a long time before you could face him.
You had gone back to the Allies, and when everyone asked, you gave the same response.
"I forgot my history "
The older nation's understood, some of the younger ones were confused.
It honestly didn't matter anymore.
He left you alone after a while. You had convinced him forgiveness was never coming.
One day you spotted him happy again with his friends.
You moved on too, but some days, even though you knew you couldn't be killed that easily....
You wished your broken heart had ended up killing you that day

Yao, A good friend of yours, had invited you over for a 'Asian feast' as he put it.
So here you are, sitting waiting for the others to come down stairs, apparently they completely forgot about the 'Asian feast'.
Yao appeared into the living room with worried eyes.
"I am very sorry for forgetting about our planned meal" He said, his voice steady more than usual.
"(Name)!" A happy voice cane from behind you.
You turned your head to see Kiku.
"You should totally try Yao's Chinese tasty treats!"
You giggled, they must be playing with you.
"No Kiku, I need to prepare our meal now, come" Yao said, his

The office was filled with its usual loud chatter. The random murmurs and banters surrounded (Name) as she simply sat and listened to what some of her fellow nations were saying around her. Sitting with a few of the female nations, (Name) tried to add in her own responses, but could barely keep her attention on the conversation at hand. Looking around the office with a bit of worry, the girl tried to pinpoint a certain raven haired nations pres

“It's...” You pull out a thin piece of paper containing certain drawings on it. It was folded into a small square skillfully and you decided to unfold it to see what the drawings were. Your (e/c) eyes glanced over the page and a tint of pink instantly appeared on your cheeks. The drawings were small doodles of very sexual scenes between characters. You instantly knew who it belonged to but you felt he would never share this sort of drawing to just anyone. “An outline of manga scenes I believe?”
Kiku's face turned red as he rose from his seat and headed over to you. He didn't want to play this game know

Xepher: No that's the smile of someone whose gonna use the poor reader's tears for tea!
Me? Pssh! Never! -throws the tea out the nearest window-
